Unless there's something im missing besides the 6 cores, I don't see the point in getting that processor when you can get the i7 930 for cheaper and have a better processor because according to that same thread it overclocks a lot higher and tops it easily... The stock 930 even meets or even outperforms the overclocked X6 in most of those benchmarks, the only downfall is the power consumption.

huh? ;p 1090T easily performs the i7-980X for WAYYY cheaper! Also....X6 can OC like MADDDD

AMD FTWW

Check this review, they seem to do better CPU tests: http://benchmarkreviews.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=508&Itemid=63&limit=1&limitstart=1

AMD $300

i7 930 $200

The motherboards for the AMD processors are cheaper then the i7 ones... AMD would be a cheaper and better build then the Intel... sad to say ...

I love you guys but I have to say that your reviews are wired sometimes.

What is the point in a 9850 review without any Q9300 and Q6600 in it?
As you guys said in the review, they are the main competitors
